For fun i took the top 10 that i think would be great for the game but i dont see making it because iether the band isnt well known enough or the band themselves probably dont want their songs in the game.

In addition to the ones above here are some more good bands that would be great but probably would never happen:

The Beatles will be tough to get in here unless Mcartney decides to buck up and get in the game.

Cake is a personal favorite, but to be honest, very few of their songs would work well. The best song for the game would be something off of Pressure Chief. Wheels would be cool, and Palm of your hand could work, but Mexico would be pretty sweet.

Flaming Lips would be a nice addition, but I could only see the Yeah Yeah Yeah song making it in, because for some reason, people think that's their best song. I'd personally like to see Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots(pt1 and 2) or It Overtakes me.

These are the 3 I'd like to see, but the rest aren't bad.

I'd personally like to see Buckethead. Something off of Giant Robot would rock, Preferably Welcome to Bucketheadland, or Binge and Grab. Jordan was good, but Giant Robot stuff kicks arse.

Metallica is again, another band who sold their soul to the devil, and won't be likely to be in the game.

I think i would have to agree on virtually everything you just said. I love the Yeah Yeah Yeah song, but Yoshimi would rock, or anything from their earlier albums. Fight Test is probably my personal favorite from them so that would be my vote.

With Buckethead, I saw him live when he was doing solo stuff.

He did a cool remake of the Star Wars Theme, and he played a redone version of binge and Grab. The rest I don't remember so well. Those two stuck out.

Freezepop, another favorite of mine (Ever since Frequency), should put Shark Attack on this game. It would fit so perfectly.

OMG - i think you and i maybe the ONLY ones who actually like Freezepop who play these games, i always see them get shreaded on all boards for Guitar Hero.
