German Version of RB:ACDC on PS2 all black & White

In Germany "AC/DC Live" for the Playstation 2 is on sale since Jan., 22.

Currently, there are severe problems. On an analog tv, everything is blurry and colorless - the whole game is displayed in a sort of blurry grey.

Is it possible that something got mixed up at the manufacturing of the DVD? It looks like the german version is in the american NTSC-format and therefore not playable european PAL-TVs!

Does anybody know something about that problem?
Is the whole first edition of AC/DC for PS2 affected by this problem?
Can games be returned to the vendor and changed for a proper PAL-Version?

Don't know about the manufacturing/distribution of the different versions, I'd check with your vendor and see what they can do.

I just tried the game with an NTSC-projector. It runs fine.
In other words: despite the big imprint "PAL" the disc contains the NTSC-version, which almost no device in europe is able to run properly.

I will surely not negotiate with an online vendor about returning opened game software. Contacting the publisher will be the first step, but thats kind of difficult: The contact form on EAs german website is buggy. It is not possible to send any messages regarding ACDC, and I will sure as hell not pay lots of money for their hotline.

Why don't you try emailing support@harmonixmusic.com they should at least be able to point you in the right direction.

np, and I was thinking, not sure why the online vendor should have a problem with you ending up with a product that is not as adevertised, ie NTSC vs PAL. Just a thought.

Just cant figure out why my ROCK BAND plays fine but only in Monochrome on PS2 ??? Am I the only one where the picture is great but just no colour.
