Setup will take me a while, but I got a smoking deal at Guitar Center
Pearl Export Series Shells ($199 ) in a nice metallic cherry color
Zildjian ZBT Pro Cymbals
Pearl Power Shifter Double Pedal
Tama Saddle Drum Throne
Their brand hardware mostly
Pacific Drums Hi-Hat stand
$1076 out the door for a very respectable starter set.
I'm so excited. I've been looking around nonchalantly for a while, but when I saw the sale on the Pearl shells I knew I couldn't leave the store without them. Time to wake the neighbors. Anyone have a good link on how to tune the heads? I've been surfing youtube and such, none seemed too great.

I made the jump also.
80$ for a good used beginner's set.
60$ for new pedal.
~20$ for assorted missing parts.
14$ for slightly worn bass drumskin.
EDIT: Sorry, didn't read question.

you just tune them to what sounds good to you.
just make sure you tune your snare like this [not the sound, but how he tunes it]
