Quick Question

In all my time in RB and RB2 all of my bands have been local.

My brother and his kids just bought RB 2, and last night we discovered playing online together, way cool.

My question is, is there any way (and how would you) to add friends permanently to your band roster? Or do you have to invite them EVERY SINGLE TIME you want to play? That seems to be a pain in the arse lol.

So, I think I'm missing something here. There are 2 members here in my house, and 2 in theirs, yet our band roster only shows the 2 here, and we have to keep inviting them.

Any way to make them a permanent part of the band?

I guess I should mention I'm playing the ps3 version, if that makes a difference in how we connect.

I was looking at a thread of band pics, and see that people posted pics of their entire band, 4 different people in 4 different places. So, I see it's possible, but damned if I can figure it out how to get the 2 online members in permanently. Any ideas?:confused:

I just tried the different band/character edit options on my PS3, doesn't seem to be a way to do this.

As you're likely aware, you could start a new online band with everyone.

Actually, that's what I thought we did last night. Apparently we f'd up lol. So, for a complete e-tard such as myself, how exactly would I do that?

I thought we did that last night, I created an online band and invited them (the other household) in. What should we do differently? Sorry to be such a newb at this, but thanks for your help.

No worries.

When you create your Online Band and get to the practice space (where you add/invite players) choose multiplayer options - invite friend. They'll join and should be a part of your band from then on. You can then do the rest of the create band stuff, home town, logo, saying ...

Let me know if I'm not clear.

Ah, thats where we screwed up. I created the online band, entered the name and all that jazz, then realized I needed to back up and invite them. So, once the band was "created" it was too late for them it seems.

I gotcha now, create online, invite, wait for them to show, THEN move to the name, town, etc. etc.
