How long is the warrantee for Kick Drum breakage?

Hi,

I read a couple people's posts regarding the kick drum snapping in half from use. One of the guys said that the company just shipped him a new one no problemo, and charged his card until the company received the broken unit in the mail. How long does this offer stand for.?

If it's not for long, I am considering reinforcing my kick pedal, because I can tell I'm gunna get a lot of fun out of this game. Thoughts?

At least 60 days, maybe more.

This is one purchase where I'm glad I got the Best Buy 2 year warranty. EA will only replacement components after 60 days. I'm pretty sure it's only for "defective" components as well, so trying to convince them that your snapped-in-half bass pedal was defective may be a stretch.

There is a thread in the main Rock Band forum where someone was able to use a Roland metal kick pedal with the standard Rock Band set. (He just needed a mini-jack adapter for the cord.)
