setting up mic

just brough rock band 2 home and im very new to all this...will someone please tell me why my mic won't connect, i know i must be doing something wrong!!!!!

You'll need a controller connected for the mic to be recognized by the game.

Turn on a controller, go into quick play or tour and you should be able to play as a singer.
