Lips Wireless Mic's

My son purchased Lips and was told the mic's can be used with Rock Band.... however they did not work....

Can you use these wireless mic's with Rock Band... do you have to download any additional software etc.

Help needed please.

There was somewhere where HMX are coming up with a patch to let the lips mics work, that was announced not too long after the Rock Band update. I really want this patch to arrive as well as my velocity in my ions back >_>

IT has been four months since hmx announced the update. It is a little suspicious that the announcement was during the holiday shopping season, and then the topic was essentially shut up and forgot about.
