I am supposed to hate Boston. They are pretty cheasy old 70's rock, which I can't stand. But every Boston song in a Harmonix game is so f'in good!

I'm a bit bugged that I haven't actually gotten around to unlocking it yet. I've played pretty much every other song in the game at this point.

Well, if you haven't unlocked it there are like 10 more songs. 2 full tiers left.

We've unlocked a bunch playing in BWT mode, and it hasn't come up there--I don't know if it's because we started one band in London and another in Seattle, or what. I mean, in London, we ended up with Won't Get Fooled Again before we moved on.
I've been working my way slowly through the solo careers--it would have been a lot faster if my guitar hadn't broken--so I'm nowhere near the last tiers as a vocalist or drummer.

Lol! Boston is rather catchy when you take the time to listen to them. My mother was a huge fan of them and Styx back in high school, and her taste in music rubbed off on me.

Think of it this way...nobody has EVER had Brad Delp's voice. Ever. I don't think it's cheesy...it's classic.
Too bad he passed away (killed himself) a few months ago. He was labeled the "Nicest Guy in Rock."
I hope they bring in More Than a Feeling soon...that song always gave me goosebumps when I played it in Guitar Hero I...such a great feel-good tune..

So far I haven't heard a band named after geography that I haven't liked. Boston, Chicago, Kansas, all of 'em rock.

Their first album in its entirety should be DLC.

Boston was an awesome band and kicked major ass live! Schultz and the boys are killer musicians. The person that mentioned Europe; I would love to see some DLC of Europe or better yet, John Norum Live..

Boston is rad and I second that the whole first album ought to be DLC... it's a super rad album.

Any band that has a guy with a master's degree from freaking MIT is pretty cool in my book.

Boston is incredible. Doesn't one of the loading screens say that "Their first self-titled album is the quickest selling rock album of all time" ?

A Boston 3 pack
More Than a Feeling
Peace of Mind
Don't Look Back
This would be enough to blow anyone's mind to pieces. Every time I here "don't look back" I think of how awsome it would be for the full band. Every part ROCKS, it's long, varied, and just plain kicks ass!
The whole first self titled album was also a good suggestion

S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y NIGHT!
Curse you Bakkster for putting this song in my head for the rest of the day :D

I'd buy an XBox 360 or PS3 JUST for this DLC alone.

I would never, ever listen to Boston by choice.
However, playing the songs brings back a feeling of significant nostalgia that I find immensely enjoyable.

I remember seing More Than a Feeling in GH1. I thought "Ugh, I really despise that song."
I started plaing it and it turns out that it is truly one of my favorites to play.
All of the other Boston songs in any HMX game is going to have that same feel, I believe.
Bring on the Boston!

More Than a Feeling

Well played. I was about to post this EXACT 3-pack. I would buy this with a vengeance.
I'm glad HMX appears to dig Boston as much as I do. Their self-titled debut is really one of the great rock records ever. It's an absolute joyride.

Thirded. Boston's S/T debut is one of the greatest albums EVER. In point of fact, side one (More Than A Feeling, Peace Of Mind, Foreplay / Long Time) is so damned good that I almost never flip the vinyl over on my turntable. PoM NEEDS to be DLC at some point, along with a new version of MTaF (preferably as a master track this time).

Boston is timeless. Mainly because the engineering on those albums is so frickin' good. Really, in the 70s when they came out, there was nothing that came close to it.
I'd love to see both of their first two albums as DLC. Third Stage even had a couple of good songs (I love "Cool the Engines").
When I hear Boston I think of programming Assembly language. The semester I was doing that was the semester I bought my first Boston CDs and I played them on non-stop rotation while coding.
Good times!
