Replacement Guitars!

I just got mine and now I prefer the Strat over the Les Paul by far. What are your guys' experiences with the replacements?

How does it compair vs your broken one? Any pics? and hows the strum feel?

sorry no pics at the moment. the strum is a lot less loose, there still is no clicking like the Les Paul but I don't think I've had a fluke note missed since I got it.

How long did it take to recieve yours? I ordered my replacement online last week and I'm still waiting for it to come. Do you think it's better? Or do you feel it might break again anytime soon.

It's been really sturdy so far, I did the 2 night shipping thing so It took me like three business days to get it

Sure can't be Christmas. How could UPS tell the difference between my package and christmas stuff? Seems like the company should send out every package they get ON TIME...they can't just delay evrything. Unless HMX hasn't sent it yet...but then again other ppl are getting theirs...I'd just like to see shipping confirmation...the billing recieved thing is getting old...especially since I need to get the package so I can send back my old one before my debit card gets docked a whole bunch of money...but I'm hoping it won't take them 25 odd days to get it to me...

I spoke with EA Support today to find out status of my guitar. They told me it had shipped 2nd day, but that with the holiday load it could be 5-7 days. What the heck is that all about? If it was shipped 2nd day, it should arrive in 2 days as promised. Anyway, I'm getting better at drums in the mean time.

Yeah, me too and it's just in transit as of this morning. Looks like it's GH3 this weekend.:o

As far as I can tell, mine won't be here until next week. I'll check this afternoon just in case, but I really have my doubts.

And I requested a replacement on the 21st. Gonna be close to two weeks before my "Second-Day Air" package gets here.

Billing Info Received is simply EA/HMX entering your shipping info into the UPS system. It does not mean that they have shipped off your guitar or that it's UPS's fault. It's not.

What's happening, most likely, is that EA/HMX is being overwhelmed with replacement orders and are shipping them out as they receive the replacements. Why they're not doing this in the order received is screwy but I also put that with their being overwhelmed.

Second day service DOES mean second day to UPS - once UPS gets it from the shipper.

Very few individuals here understand that 2 day shipping DOES NOT mean you will receive a new guitar in 2 days. It simply means it will be in transit for 2 days.

that's ridiculous. Sounds like a few people that placed an order this week got their replacements, and those of us who ordered last week haven't got anything. I did 2 day shipping too!

I dunno. I filed my RMA on Saturday, 11/24. The guitar shipped Monday, 11/26 and arrived Wednesday, 11/28. I used the credit card method.

I just called EA support. I got an American service rep(!), and gave him my RMA number. He immediately confirmed that my guitar was shipped out yesterday evening. So I should have mine Monday at the latest. Wish it was getting here sooner, but I'm glad the support call was painless.

Just to give some insight, i place my RMA last tues. Release day, and it finally just changed yesterday to parts shipped, and ups is now showing "in transit" so stay strong, they'll come, slowly, but they are comming!
