I dunno much about advertising but wouldn't it be more likely to see a bunch of people playing the game and the game peripherals transforming into real instruments?

Probably put in some kinda thing where their lounge room turns into a stage and crazy lighting comes in etc.

Seems a bit obvious though, I hope they do something good. I also hope they advertise in Australia, I've never seen any GH ads down here.

dude, a band of pirates against a band of ninjas online and having both explode during the jam session cause i dont see how they can alienate either side of the ninja/pirate debate. or have both groups get mauled by polar bears....think about it, youd NEVER forget THAT commercial :D

Seems like a good thread to rehash my idea for a GH2 commercial. I thought they could take concert footage for famous bands that were in the game and replace the real instruments with the controllers. So you'd see like Nirvana w/ Cobain playing the strat controller and grohl pounding away on the drum controller. though I guess w/ the awesomeness of the strat it would be kinda hard to tell the difference almost.

plus, also...licensing and such...
