Get this BS I purchased 8 songs from DLC and not one of them showed up under songs downloaded. I downloaded again and they were there. Weird right? Gets better today I go to play some of the new songs and 3 are missing...WTF I then redownloaded them and magically they appear. Next I start playing with my fiance in our band and after a song Rockband says it needs 57 more blocks of space to save. The funny part is that everything was downloaded to the SD card so there was plenty of room on my Wii. I went in to my system data and everything on my SD card was wiped out. To add insult to injury I went back in to the game and ALL of my saved game data is completely gone!!!!!!. I am extremely PO and can not believe that a months of playing is completely GONE!!! All my issues stem from DLC and can not understand how this could of happened???? I want answers from someone in charge of the DLC, Harmonix, Rockband or who ever and reimbursement for all the data lost This should have never happened. As of right now I want to throw the game out and tell all my friends. On top of that I'm contemplating whether or not to post a video on the internet telling everyone my story...

This sounds like a hardware issue on your machine versus something HMX can fix. Of course, I don't play on the Wii, but since this is the first time I've heard this of this issue, I say it's pretty isolated.
Regardless, coming here ranting about it in a less than constructive manner (threats) is no way to get your issue resolved. I wish you luck getting it fixed though.

I had no problems what so ever with my Wii or saving any data until I downloaded songs from DLC. Everytime I downloaded them and went to play the songs they weren't there. I went back to DLC and it showed purchased not downloaded...Do you realize I had to download 9 songs about 3 different times? To me thats not a hardware issue thats a DLC issue!! As a matter of fact I just read about 3 other posts about having to redownload songs. The worse part of all this is that all my info and saved progress is completely wiped out!!! I have the right to be upset and I'm pretty sure you would be too if you lost all your game progress!!!

I hardly think a corrupted data file is worth a refund, and no one is going to care about your whiny YouTube video. Just restart the game, sounds like you had too much of other kinds of memory (save games, VC, etc.) and it had an error during song transfer... Either that or your SD was full/corrupted.
Note: You are one of the VERY few Wii users who has had this happen, so I doubt HMX is sweating any of your threats as it is probably more a problem on your end.

I had an issue that's completely frustrating and was looking for help or advice. Next time you want to possibly help someone try not insulting them. If you read other posts there has been numerous people having similar issues.

This happened to me too yesterday.
I was downloading tracks, my sd card became full and 1 song wouldn't transfer. I left it on the wii's internal memory and went to play Siva that I had just downloaded.
After I beat Siva and it went to save I got the error message about needing 57 more blocks free. I have a lot of stuff on my wii so I thought it could be true. I didn't realize I was losing my whole save file in the process until a few minutes later.
VERY frustrating. Now I know I need to make damn sure I have enough space on the SD card and not to play the game when my internal memory is low, and I hope this does NOT happen again.
Thing is, I thought that once the save game file was initially created, the wii would have set aside all the space it needed for it...so I don't know.

I don't know if this is what happened but even if you have a song on your SD card you still need about 200 blocks free on your Wii's internal memory, because the game requires the song to be streamed from the SD card, and then it's deleted after it saves. I hope this is helpful.

It would have been nice if they actually told you how much free space you had on your SD card.
I try to keep at least 500 blocks free regardless. Clear off a few lesser used games or back up saves onto an SD card.

You can find that out by going into data management on the Wii. It will show you how many blocks you have free in your Wii's memory, and in the SD card.
BTW, I always back up my SD cards onto my PC just in case.

Thats exactly what happened to me!! I still can't believe it happened...From now on I'm not purchasing any new songs. It's a lesson learned. Glad to see there are others experiencing the same thing. Thanks to all for the support, advice, and your time!!

I guess it's a good idea to keep a minimum of free space available on the wii's internal memory then. At the very least 200 blocks. I generally have around 300 free, but I may delete a few things then.

Don't start a thread by whining and empty-threatening the company that made the game on their own site, and you won't get that kind of response. And 3 people is hardly numerous.
BTW: This kind of corruption is caused when there is a discrepancy between how many blocks the Wii has availible and what it caches while its saving. If you have just barely 200 blocks (or less) and aren't presented with an error message before loading up DLC, you'll probably run ito this problem availible while saving post-set.
