Is there some reason in particular why there haven't been any Led Zeppelin or AC/DC songs on GH/Rock Band yet?.. I think any song by those bands are a must. Bring on the Stairway and some Thunderstruck please!

Cause those bands hate their fans and just want money
And they are snobs who beleive they are worth too much
So nobody can pay them enough to let their mistreated fans play their music.
Led zeppelin hates you.
AC/DC hates you.
That is all have a nice day :D

Even if they did brin zeppelin or AC/DC I wouldn't want either of those songs. Stairway to heaven is extremely boring on everything except vocals. The guitar part on Thunderstruck plays that tapping part for like 90% of the song and I would go crazy. Im all for Zeppelin and AC/DC, but you have to think about all of the instruments.

If you're hoping for Led Zeppelin and AC/DC content in Rock Band, I'd read this article (http://kotaku.com/gaming/feature/the-guys-behind-the-rock-band-music-325768.php).
It looks promising.
Immigrant Song and Back in Black for the win!

A lot of AC/DC and Led Zeppelin is too commercial. something like Boogie with Stu would be good addition though.

The article sys that there wont be any Dragon force bacause they want balance all the way through the song. Do they listen to Dragonforce? The only part that isn't kickass is bass.

And the 5 minute solos where the singer just stands there.

Sounds promising. Led Zeppelin's "Black Dog" is my #1 DLC request.

I would like any Led Zeppelin song from any Led Zeppelin album as my #1 request.

It does look promising and they are also trying to get The Beatles as well. It would make an awesome trifecta if they got AC/DC, The Beatles and Led Zeppelin.

Thunderstruck would be perfect. The part you're talking about is only the rythm. The guitar changes around once. It only goes to the tapping part twice. The begining of the song and the end.

I guess if it was mapped well it could be great, but they could definately **** it up. I have faith in Harmonix though.

*ahem*
Members of Led Zeppelin have always been very protective of their repertoire, and have seldom allowed their works to be licensed for films or commercials. In recent years, their position has softened on the issue. The songs of Led Zeppelin can be heard in movies such as One Day in September, School of Rock, Shrek the Third ("Immigrant Song" in all three), Dogtown and Z-Boys ("Achilles Last Stand" and "Hots on for Nowhere") and Almost Famous ("That's the Way", "The Rain Song", "Misty Mountain Hop", and "Tangerine") and Small Soldiers ("Communication Breakdown"). One Tree Hill is the first, and so far only network television show to license a Led Zeppelin song ("Babe I'm Gonna Leave You"). Also noteworthy is Cadillac's resurgent use of "Rock and Roll" in their US TV advertising campaign. Recently, Led Zeppelin has agreed to allow Apple to sell their music from the upcoming greatest hits collection Mothership from Apple's iTunes Store.
One Tree Hill, and of all things, DOGTOWN AND Z-BOYS got friggin' Zep songs (and good one's, too). You just need to have a hefty wallet and know the right people (that might take the price down).
Also, Neversoft has the rights to TNT by AC/DC. Anarchy in the UK and Number of the Beast appeared in the same Tony Hawk game (4), and AitUK and NotB were in GH3, so TNT will probably be Guitar Hero downloadable content.
