Am I missing something?

I played Guitar solo. I played Drums solo. I played Vocals solo.......Where is the Bass solo play?

When you go to the solo career leaderboards bass is listed, but I can't find any way to play bass unless someone is playing guitar.

So am I missing something, or is solo bass play missing from the game?

There is no bass solo career. You can do bass solo quickplay.

Why not though? Bass lines differ, often times dramatically, from the guitar......

Can we get some frickin bass solo career in a patch, please?

I am pretty sure they talked about there being a solo career for each instrument...if not thats screwy as hell!

HMX tried it and found...

Bass solo tour is as boring as hell.

There is a solo career for each instrument. Not each part in the band. The guitar is the instrument.

they found that bass just drags too much by yourself. plus few of the songs really get progressively harder on the bass side. They do have at least one bass-centric achievement FC a song with only upstrums.

Have to agree.
Did some Bass Solo and it's pretty boring.

However when you are with a group, it is actually pretty fun.
Also, the police DLC has some great Bass part.

I don't really mind that there is no solo bass tour, I'm just glad that you have the option to play bass on any song whenever you feel like it on quickplay, sure not all the songs in the set list are interesting to play on bass but most of them are pretty challenging and fun.

Take "Run to the hills" for example has anybody tried that one on expert?

holy smokes!!

I passed "Run to the Hills" on expert/bass, but it wasn't pretty. The triplet/gallop is going to be a fun skill to master :)

didn't play it on bass but when we were jamming out this past weekend my friend ryan who sticks to bass because he can't do better than hard on guitar said bass was crazy even on medium.
