I suppose I could go through the 12 pages of existing topics here and reply to some of those, but I'm lazy, so I'm gonna try the easy way (for me at least) first :)
Lookin for rockers in the 21+ age group (I like to drink while I rock, and you should too!) who aren't out to set the highest score possible, but are looking to have a great time!
A little about me:
I started playing actual drums in 3rd grade, and have in one way or another kept up with it. Did marching band in HS as well as most of the other school related bands (jazz, orchestra, etc.) so I came from a decent musical background (learned but can't really play piano anymore, and also played french horn, trumpet, and most other percussion instruments a school has).
I started playing these d@mn addicting games with GH1 on PS2 (failing songs on easy!), and have since owned (and still own) GH2, GH3, GH:WT and now obviously RB2 so I guess you can say I'm a junkee.
I'm slowly etching my way through the tour & challenges (just unlocked ESL2), and don't mind helping you do the same. I'll play guitar/bass on expert (I'm pretty good but no master, there are a few songs that I might fail solo, or require a savior in group for!). I'll do drums some expert, mostly hard, and if inebriated enough I'll sing anywhere from medium to expert!
About you:
Must not be afraid to tell me about yourself, like I just did above. Maybe I'm weird, but I'd like to know a little bit about the people I'm playing with (call me old fashioned, but I've met many longtime friends online, starting with similar interests like a video game that uses plastic instruments). I'm also available on facebook, gtalk, aim, and here to shoot the $h1t with.
Also I don't care what difficulty you play on, but I do hope you won't disconnect in the middle of a setlist! Please feel free to challenge yourself! Like I said, I'm not looking to set record scores, I want to have fun with other humans! So don't bore yourself and me by playing a song 100% perfectly on a lower difficulty than you can, step up and challenge yourself! I don't mind saving you, as long as you provide me the same courtesy :D. I find it 10x more fun to barely pass a song on expert than to 100% the same song on hard.
So I guess that about sums it up. If anyone has read this far and is interested in rocking some time, hit me up and we'll take it from there.
