Hey, so my friends and I play on 360; we've downloaded a whole bunch of songs, and have played them multiple times since we got them. We were playing last night, and every time we'd try to play a downloaded song, a message would pop up during the load screen telling us our DLC was unavailable. We could still see all our DLC on the song list, they just wouldn't play. Any ideas?

Have you had your system repaired or replaced?

I am having the same problem but on my PS3.
The thing is I purchased the system from a friend of a friend. I had been playing under that guy's PSN. When I tried to change my billing info to purchase new tracks, it would ask me for the password. I could never get a hold of the guy so I deleted the user and made my own.
I know therein lies my problem. Is there any way to fix that or would I have to repurchase all the songs?
Thanks a lot in advance.

That happened to me for a while on my 360 and i just signed onto the profile that i bought the songs with and signed on to XBL. I guess this refreshes the RB Song Cache so that the game knows that you've bought the songs again.
Also just for a pointless tip. I always know when a DLC song isn't working cause if you hover over the song it should play a short clip of the song right? Well if the DL'ed song isn't going to work that short clip won't play at all.
Hope i helped atleast a liiiittle bit :P

You probably just need to do a license migration (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/systemuse/xbox360/licensemigration/).

Some of my DLC was unplayable for awhile too. I just waited an hour or so and redownloaded the tracks and they worked again.

You shouldn't have hijacked somebody else's thread.
Anyway. No, you screwed the pooch when you deleted his account. You should have just made your own PSN account and set it as the master account. Once his account was deleted off the machine, all the DLC rights to those songs went with it.

Thank you AirPortugal and others who helped in a not-so-rude manner.
I am a noob for things like this so I didn't know I could create a new PSN and set it as the master account. Sorry.
And I don't know why "hijacking someone's thread" is so bad anyway. The person who started the thread was asking for help just as I was asking for some as well. I figured whoever would give a response to help he/she would probably be able to assist me here also instead of me creating a new post.
Guess someone was having a bad day...
