base drum pedal for ION

Just got a new ION drumset ,very cool thing !Maybe not a quiet as I tought it would be but cool stuff anyway....
The only REALLY annoying thing is the noise the spring makes from the base drum pedal ,very irritating .I was thinking of getting a base drum kick pad but don't know which one is compatible with the ION .Will the one from Alesis be compatible ? Any other ideas ?

No e-drum kick trigger pads are out-of-the-box compatible with the Ion controller. You need a Kickbox (USD $65) to use any of them:

But you can use any other Rock Band-compatible kick pedals, like the Rock Pedal, Destroyer Pedal, Omega Pedal, etc. without a Kickbox.
