Rock Band has been at Grumpy's Bar in Downtown Minneapolis for about two months now, and I just tonight remembered that I should post about it on here.

It's On A Stage
Room faces the stage, stage faces the room. Smaller flatscreen TV faces towards the stage to be played off of, while a very large flatscreen TV is above the stage, pointed at the audience, who can see what notes the band is playing as well as the band.

Friendly, Non-Competitive Atmosphere
Anyone and everyone is encouraged to try their hand at an instrument, first timers and seasoned veterans alike. Focus is more on an entertaining stage show than technical perfection.

240 Songs And Counting
Rock Band 2+1, plus a whole lot of DLC. New songs added each week Harmonix produces stuff that interests me.

Good Times
Full bands of four are encouraged. So you can bring along friends of your own, or if they're busy, it's easy enough to just form a pick-up band there. Again, friendly environment.

Technical Stuff
Game is running off an Xbox 360, playing Rock Band 2 (so no Run To The Hills, sorry), instruments are the Rock Band 2 bundled editions of the guitar, drumkit, and microphone, and a Les Paul-styled Guitar Hero 3 guitar. If it's important to you that you play on your own instrument, feel free to bring it down.

Too bad they only have 240 songs ATM. I'd love to see them add some more recent stuff (like the Fratellis pack)
