I am just curious, I have read lots of post of peoples hardware not working correctly, and now harmonix has come out and made a statement saying that the problem has been found, and will be fixed. Maybe I haven't played it enough, but I dont know if my hardware is broken, things seem to work ok....anyone know what I should check or look for?

I am a little ticked off that my simple question is getting burried by a bunch of others who simply post to complain about when are things going to be shipped, do they need to sign for them, These posts do not have anything to do with technical support. We need a moderator in these forums to weed out the 5 year olds from posting crap.

I totally agree. Keep looking around for the good topics. They're there.
One I would recommend is the one titled something like "The Official my instruments are broken".
I can try to find it and post the link if need be.

This forum needs a good cleaning.

thank you very much for directing me to that thread. so it seems that the guitar is having downstrum issues. i cant say i have any of these problems, i tested all of my hardware immediately and things seemed to be just fine, guess i may have gotten lucky. i would be a little more curious as to how long it takes for any issue to arise. i shall try and read more into it.

Try playing songs on expert on drums that have fast 16th notes or 16th note triplets or even 32nd notes. My pads don't register anything fast at all. The big endings of all the songs sound like garbage as only 1 out of 4 notes when playing fast even registers. At first I just thought that's how they were, but as I started progressing through the expert career, I noticed that there were sections that I simply couldn't play due to the fact that the notes wouldn't register.
