What about a create your own song feature? you can pick the notes and measures and stuff for each instrument and pitches for vocals, etc.

I'm still waiting for a game (preferably handheld), that has a full midi composer... well, there was one (Band Bros.) but it was in japanese and was too inconveient.. if they came out with a full featured.. like.. Guitar Pro 5/DS for ds that would be the best thing ever.
What about MTV Music Generator? I only ever played around with the second one (assuming, of course, that a first exists, otherwise the title of the one I messed with makes no sense) ... that one allows you to use premade "riffs" of all sorts, or to take the sounds from those riffs and make your own riffs ... like, fully-customized style. Isn't that what you're looking for?

Kinda like MTV Music. but i meant you make the song, and then play it with your "band"

I get what you're saying about using this for Rock Band -- that would be awesome! -- my comment was more directed @ bounchfx

I've tried the music gens. before. eh.

I'm talking midi composer. give me a thing of sheet music and let me place notes with up to 10 instruments etc and save my file and share with others and maybe even upload and stuff to my pc. I just want something like Guitar Pro for pc but portable!

GH:WT had this feature. I thought it would be a great idea, but I QUICKLY became bored by it. I'm kinda glad Harmonix never decided to use this idea.
