Loud Drums Question

This post seems like a great idea and I will probably try it (http://generationgamerz.com/v2/insight/time-for-rock-band-arts-crafts.php). My question is this... why doesn't Harmonix sell pads similar to the ones the link describes how to make? This would prevent people from fretting about voiding the warranty and make them some more money. I know they already charged us $170, but I am willing to pay for these so I can be sure I won't screw anything up.

Putting a sticker on the device shouldn't void the warrenty, unless it caused damage to the equipment itself. I'm sure they are looking into making first party products, but everything takes time. If they made something like this they'd have to support it. I'm sure other folks (maybe pelican or madcatz?) will come out with rubber pads in the VERY near future to support folks not wanting to do crafts.

Heck, folks have already come up with stickers for the entire set.
