Ok, keep in mind that I have no idea how they do it or how much it cost to create a song for download content. But, what if they offered a service to us fans and gamers that would allow us to pay (maybe even some ridiculous amount) for the custom development of a song or album we want as download content for the game. Then... once it's developed, obviosly the person who financed it would get it, but it would also be posted up for download to the public. Then, the nice guys over at Harmonix would refund the devolopment fee to the person if they made enough money off of the public downloads. Now I'm sure there are some licensing fees and other red tape crap that I'm not considering but it would still be an incredible thing to do. Well... that's my little fantasy idea I thought I would share. Any thoughts? Would it be possible? :D

Why cant they just make a patch for the game that would allow us to import our own songs from our own collections? I understand that you wouldn't be able to post your work for others in the community due to copyrights. But, it would be great to be able to import some of my own tunes for setup and playing in game only for me. This way bands could record there songs, import them into this game, custom set the songs for difficulty, and then play them together as a band. This way they could just play there songs in the game rather than setting up there equipment and blasting the neighbors away. What does everyone else think or this idea?????
