Cannot download any DLC from Music Store - Wii RB2

Hey peoples,

I have imported a copy of RB2 from the US to play on my Wii (I am in Australia)

I am having trouble whenever I try to download any music tracks from the music store. I can see the tracks, both pay and free, but when I try to download them, I get different errors.

1. Free tracks

When trying to purchase the free tracks(or download them) it comes up with the acceptance screen saying I would have 2000 points remaining after I have purchased the track( I have got 2000 points available). I agree to start the download, and I get the error that I do not have enough Wii points to complete the transaction... WTF?!?!?! I have 2000 points dammit and I am tryng to download free track??? I have a brand new SD card in my wii which is formatted and is empty so space is not an issue.

2. Purchase tracks

When trying to purchase any of the 200 point tracks, I get the error saying I need to contact EA Support. I'm sorry, but I refuse to pay $1.48 per minute for someone to tell me that I have an internet problem, when I can play online and with my friends no problems.

Does anyone have the same problems or can anyone shed any light on this problem I am having? I have tried everything, even creating a new band and using that one to go to the music store, but alas, same problem.

You won't be able to purchase DLC on RB2 with different region than your Wii. Just wait for game for your region.

well that just sucks big time... there has been no release date for RB2 in Australia yet.

Are we going to have to wait another YEAR after release in the US??

By the sounds of it, they just don't care for us in Australia

I wish there was soemthing we could do. I have read so many negative comments on this forum its shocking. I guess the two Mod's who actually represent the compnay have become immune to it. The other people who actually do the work cant possibly read these forums. From reading this and GH fourms, its seem that GH have a better setup. You cant just ignore your customers no matter how popular you are.
