So is it safe to assume that us PS3 owners are finally going to get the Bowie pack today? I know we get updates on Thursdays, but 360's get theirs on Tuesdays... I don't think it's very fair... Especially since we HAD the launch day DLC on a Tues...
What I'm saying is, we should ALL be getting DLC on the same day. I know it's only a 2 day difference, but how hard would it be for the PSN peeps to make an exception for RB?

Very. Make and exception for Harmonix and every other developer will want one.

Waiting 2 days for DLC is not as bad and keeps Sony's schedule. I don't see any problem in that.

I agree with you 100% I mean Rock Band is a great game, but it should not change the way Sony updates it website due to one game. Next GHIII will want to do the same if they ever release any DLC anymore. :p

it's up to Sony, not HMX. 2 days really aren't that bad.

exactly, then the psn updates would be scattered everywhere, and it would become confusing

All valid points... I could see where random updates would get confusing, and having 1 set day for ALL updates is nice, but what's the problem with having random updates all week? Sure it would be kind of confusing, but a release schedule website would make it more manageable... I dunno, if it aint broke don't fix it right?

When I saw the title, I thought this was going to be about some indication that the PS3 wasn't getting the same content as the 360.
As long as we're getting the same tracks the same week, it ain't "the shaft."
I have a hard time believing a difference of two days is enough to trigger yet another platform war.

There is probably one guy or a small team of people who are responsible for coordinating and publishing PlayStation Store content. Having that team publish material on a weekly schedule is the best way to ensure the site not only stays updated but continues to get proper support as well.

It's all Sony's fault. Go rattle their cage.
They deserve a little cage rattling.

Ummm... yeah... cuz nobody is giving them crap already. Jeez, it's a nice system. Instead of checking everyday I get to be all happy when I get home on Thursdays to see what's new.

OK, can I please ask a NOOB question? Can someone walk me through how to find DLC. Or point me to a guide of how to do the download stuff. I got to the Playstation site the other day and had trouble downloading demos. I think I hit every button on the controller trying to select something and it would not do it. I gave up out of frustration. I seriously need step by step cause I am too old to know this stuff intuitively.
I also don't have a clue about how to do online play, so if there is a guide somewhere for that too, please show me where.
Thanks.

Oh c'mon. TWO DAYS! PSN updates on Thursdays so we get new songs on Thursdays. It's fine with me.

Real simple. When in the store use the left stick or D-pad to move the pointer and X to click. Go to the PlayStation Store option. Then go to Games > Add-Ons > Rock Band. Pick a pack and click purchase/
For online go to Multiplayer > Band Quickplay > Online Play.

Trust me the last thing I want to do is start a flame war... Also, notice the question mark in the thread title. I'm not saying we ARE getting the shaft, just asking what you all think... If everyone's ok with it, then no biggie.

I have to agree that waiting 2 days is not a big deal. There are more pressing issues.
Just as long as we get them the same WEEK, I think that's acceptable. That is not always true with the PSN though. The PSN still does not even have the GH3 boss battle pack that XBL got weeks ago. Sony's approval process is not as efficient as Microsoft's which is frustrating at times.
