well i figured that its either its broken, or its very cheaply made.

the strumming bar feels very loose(im comparing to gh2 guitar). and this leads me to miss many notes when theres a bunch in a row.

i can down strum and everything, but when theres a bunch of notes in a row its almost impossible to hit them in a row.

so is my guitar broken, or is it just the way the hunk of plastic is?

you need a replacement.

The strum bar has a different feel from the GH guitars, absolutely. However, Against is probably right.

How I checked to see if my strum bar was dying on me, and I'm sure everyone has their own method, was simple: I just went to solo tour song menu and slowly strummed up and down between two songs and slowly got faster, when I noticed my selection was very quickly going higher and higher up the list when there was no way I wasn't making a "hit," I hit support.ea.com/rockband

Hope that helps.

no, mine wasn't loose at all. it did start failing however. you definitely need a replacement.

That is not a good way to test for this. When scrolling through songs, there is often a delay as the song clip is loading.

If, like me, you are new to the whole guitar-playing game and can only play on easy, what would be a good way to test for it? I'm just afraid by the time I develop the skill to get up to the fast notes (the ones that are showing everyone that their guitar is broken) I'll be out of warranty. :(

no i can play on extreme. rock band is alot easier then guitar hero was. u hardly use the orange fret button on most songs.

extreme is like medium hard on guitar hero imo. i play people online and they hit every freaking note.

i only was able to do that once with dani california because it was medium

Well, what I have been reading is that people who can play well test their guitars on the fast notes on a certain song and that is showing them their strum bar is whacked. Sounds like you are having the same prob and need a replacement.
