Skiing or Snowboarding?

I'm gonna either take up skiing or snow boarding. My bro snowboards and me him and a friend are probably going to a mountain in Vermont next weekend. I'm thinking of borrowing his extra board and trying snowboarding or renting ski gear. I think skiing might but easier but it would probably more fun if me and bro were doing the same thing. Thoughts of what I should try?

I suck at both, but I find that snowboarding is more fun. I only did it once though, but somehow I was much better at controlling myself when my feet were connected.

i've been snowboarding for almost 20 years now. Skiing is fun, but snowboarding is where my heart lies. I hate living where i do now though. No mountains:(
