if somehow you were to buy another pedal and then got an splitter for the existing pedal would it work.... not sure if has been tried yet but it was just a thought.

Theoretically, yes, but why would you want to? Every drum chart in this game (even on Expert) is designed to be played with a single kick pedal, and CAN be played with a single kick pedal. I can personally attest to that :)

Now, if for example, the Metallica DLC songs actually had some double-kick parts in them, I could totally understand wanting to do that. But they don't, so it's not really necessary.

I am a double-kick drummer. I love my 2 kick drums on my set. I use them all the time. See my Myspace page for pictures and song examples where I use them alot. I don't think having 2 kicks (or pedals) is "cheating" like some drummers do. But it's unnecessary in this game for the drum charts that currently exist.

maybe but it would be dumb.

it wouldnt add to the gameplay becasue you would just be hitting both pedals for the same note. Its not like you can program more notes into the game.

It has been tried, it does work, but the songs are not charted for it and so it is of limited use.

However, if you just want to try it out and play with two pedals, go for it.
