Rb2 export key question

Hey, i need to know, if i alredy buy the export key and transfer the songs, do i need the disc anymore and if another rb games comes out would i be able to transfer the songs without having the rb1 disc?

The only reason you'd need the disc is if you wanted to play the three missing songs.

The second question would be answered around launch of that game, hard to guess now.
