Has anybody noticed that Lucid Dreams is totally different on the new album than it was in Madden? It's now an eight-minute techno-rock-like odyssey, and I enjoy infinitely better than the original version

i dont know the song. but i totally have lucid dreams lol i have to meditate for a while before i sleep in order for it to happen, and i cant do it if im exhausted (which i usually am) but it always ends at a really screwed up time though. i control myself in my dream and do whatever i want and JUST WHEN IM ABOUT TO DO SOMETHING AWESOME my cat wakes me up, or the phone rings. ugh.
wikipedia says!
"Originally only listenable through a static-covered stream on the band's website and the video game Madden NFL 09, it was released as a single through iTunes on August 19, 2008 (despite an earlier message on the band's diary having stated "it's not a single"[1]). According to lead singer Alex Kapranos, the single differs from the version that appears on Tonight: Franz Ferdinand and has been described by several reviewers as the highlight or magnum opus of the album.[2] It should also be noted that the album version of the song is dramatically different in structure and length. The chorus on the album has been revised, and the track ends with an almost four minute 'acid trance' instrumental. The pre-album version is available as a iTunes bonus track to the album."
ah, nothing like wikipedia to keep me occupied while i dl caprici di diablo.

Sounds like Franz Ferdinand has been listening to The Stone Roses lately!
...I like that! I'm looking forward to the new album.

It's out already, at least on iTunes. Or were you talking about Stone Roses?

No I'm talking about FF, I really doubt the Roses will be putting out any new albums :P. I don't use iTunes so I'll have to look around for it.

Ulysses sounds hella different, and I hate it. I got it off LimeWire before the album, and now the new track has slower vocals which make it sound like crap.
