I was playing score duel on expert this morning(which sucks first of all, no one is on, so you get matched with the same person over and over).
So I keep getting matched up with something like I LighteN I. He is a ranked 31, I was at 25 at this point
This kid barely beats me the first song becuase I made a stupid mistake.
Matched up again. Song I have played once and can't play for crap and he kicks my ass.
Next song I beat him by a decent amount.
Next song I win again, even though he full comboed it, and I didn't(Gotta realize the importance of overdrive timing).
So at this point, I dropped him a rank down to 30. And apparently he is pissed because I got matched up with him again. And again I beat him, but in between the ending of the song the screen where it says I win, he quits out so I don't get the points and drop his rank anymore.
Kind of lame, just suck up to loss. Lot's of other kids do this to, this is just the most recent example.
Kind of makes you wonder why they didn't do anything about this.
Oh well, im almost ranked in the top 100 now, so ill take it.

This is why I do Band Quickplay instead of Duels or Tug of Wars. Competition brings out the worst in people. Now, cooperative modes, those seem to bring out the best in people... I've had some fun evenings with three complete strangers that way.

I like competition though. And it really is a simple fix anyway. Any other game on live penalizes you for leaving early.
There is no point for me to play band quickplay anyway, becuase I can play with my roomate and do the BWT.

There are several threads on this (one started by me).

According to HMX, you do indeed still get credit the interface just doesn't show that information to you.

I've had more people than I care to remember quit. Best way to avoid them is to leave negative feedback and choose reason "Quit game early." That person is then put on a list for you to avoid when doing matched play. Works for me.

FYI - welcome to the top 100. :)

Well that's cool then.
I would have left him the feedback if I had got matched up with him again, but after that I guess he was just to mad to keep playing, becuase they finally found me someone else to play.

And im not quite top 100 yet, im like 131. One more rank up and I will be there. I just don't play online all that much becuase I have to share with my roomate. Why o why did I have to learn how to share when I was a kid.

Edit: Sorry for the title. I figured there was a swear filter.
