I could just not being seing the option anywhere, but can you still check your notes hit and breakdown by song parts after playing a song? I really liked that feature.

Not that I have seen. It's nice, but not really neccesary, so maybe they left it out.

I wish this feature was in the game too.

Yea, I miss the stats breakdown.

Stas breakdown was kinda stupid to me. I mean, I can pretty easily tell which sections of a song I struggle at. Besides that, knowing I got 96% on chorus 2 just doesnt really mean anything to me.
I go as far as if I 5 starred it or not.

Well thanks Mr. Buzzkill :p
I just liked knowing how many total notes I hit and also if I improved on a solo from the last time I played. I can tell the parts I'm not good at but it was nice to see the number go up on those parts after playing a few times.
And it was always fun to compare w/ friends at a GH party :)

Personally, I just enjoyed seeing the words "End Wankery".

Would be a great feature. It's very useful for knowing what part of the song you need to practice when you're going for the FC.

Psst...we don't "go for the FC" in Rock Band. We left that behind when we migrated from GH.

End Wankery FTW! :D
I, too, miss the stats. I liked seeing exactly how many notes I missed, what sections I sucked on (sure, you can "kinda tell", but it's a lot easier when it's right there in black and white, especially if it's a long song). With Rock Band's solo sections and freestyle sections, it's even more compelling. Oh well, maybe in a patch.

The stats are sometimes great to look at but HMX really wanted you to feel like a band not 4 individuals. There's evidence of this philosophy everywhere. (Odd note: GHIII coop doesn't have separate stats).
Stats could very well be your Yoko ;)

You know, when this feature was announced for GHII, I was pretty excited. But then I realized I much more enjoyed just playing the songs rather than fretting (get it?) about whether or not I'm gonna FC anything. In fact, after the first week or two of playing, I never looked at the song breakdown, and still don't to this day.
I think the exclusion of the song breakdown is in line with HMX wanting to make players feel like they're playing a song, not a game. When you're playing in a show, you don't get a detailed spreadsheet about how you did on certain parts. The crowd goes wild (five stars) or applauds politely (three stars) and that's all the feedback you need.
Unless you're a score jockey, at which point I can see why you'd miss it. But really, the majority of people playing this (and GH for that matter) don't care one way or the other.

HAHA... I still play both. :D
So I'll drop FC. I'll just say 100%. picky picky... :D

Miss the stats too. I enjoyed seeing my average multiplier and notes hit and more. At least you can still see your longest streak, sometimes (all the time in solo I think).
I miss the breakdown, and I enjoyed it in GH2 cause we'd get on people about breaking the most streaks during coop. It was a lot of fun for us.
Was the biggest disappointment for me in terms of the game (and it's not that big of one.. just being nitpicky).
