We need Van Halen.
Both incarnations of the band too... I want to play Panama, but I also want Poundcake. A huge 6 track d-load would ROCK.
A Hagar pack would be great too...
Heavy Metal.. I can't Drive 55, There's only one way to Rock. That'd be a great 3-fer.

I wouldn't mind having a Van Hagar song or two, because they've had some pretty catchy ballads, but the rest would have to be from the Roth era.
And some of Hagar's solo stuff would rock, too.

Early Van Halen would be awesome. I like the Sammy songs you picked too.

Hot For Teacher would satisfy my Van Halen wants. That opening bass line that sounds like a rumbling V8 is just F'ing awesome.

I'd SO love to play Alex's drum intro. That's a line that many drummers aspire to.

I'd vote for just doing the whole 1984 album. So many quality songs on there. I thought some of the Hagar songs were alright.
1984 may have been my first rock album I listened to so I'm a bit biased. Course now I'm thinking about Motley Crue and Dr. Feelgood which was another one of my first rock albums growing up =)

There are some Van Hagar tunes that would be sweet in Rock Band. Big Fat Money from Balance, for example. Kind of sad that they went bust after that album - they were really starting to get a good sound going. Best of Both Worlds, Poundcake, and Runaround would be good too.
But there are so many VH tunes from the Roth era that need to be in Rock Band. Panama, Hot For Teacher, Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love, Feel Your Love Tonight, I'm The One, Unchained, Sinner's Swing!, Bottoms Up!, Beautiful Girls, And The Cradle Will Rock, Everybody Wants Some!, cripes I could go on and on...
You want more of my moneys, Harmonix? You want lots of my moneys? Get those songs on the DLC!
Just no Van Sharone. It's best that we all pretend that never happened.

Gotta work that denial mojo these days. To me, Cherone never happened, and they reunited a couple years ago and toured with Sammy. They are not on tour now.
