You know what I mean.. like GH2 had Trogdor, GH80's had LimoZeen.

Not that I'm specifically talking about something from the Brothers Chaps, but anything sort of unusual or funny you'd like to see.

What about something from Weird Al? He's got a lot of style parodies out there (i'm telling you, he NAILED Cake with "Close but no Cigar")

Or what I'd suggested in another thread was a metal song based on music from Mike Tyson's Punch Out for the NES. Well, technically it was just Punch-Out since it references Mr. Dream, but it'll always be Mike Tyson for some of us.

Seriously, listen to this and tell me it wouldn't be awesome in a game like this: http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00605/

So absolutely cheezy 80's, I love it.

What other suggestions might you have?

It doesn't ALL have to be the longest solo ever or the fastest metal riff ever or the hardest to sing ever... whats wrong with an occasional Fun song?

nothing wrong with having the "fun songs" - i think thats what Rock Band is really aiming for

as far as the video game remixes though, i think the population of people who would actually purhcase those would be very small..

i do wish they had more songs like "Trogdor" and stuff though.. they have that Timmy from south park song though in rock band, even though it sucks.. but it's some of that "fun" stuff

i think down the road though we'll probably see more songs that are more about fun, rather than long solos and stuff.. granted they'll still definitely be pumping out songs with the elaborate solos and all as well, but i read an interview where they were planning "hundreds to thousands" of DLC in the coming years, so i'd be really surprised if there isn't at least a few songs aimed more at having fun rather than being challenging

see.. that I'm not too sure on.

given the price, a lot of people buying this game are in their 20's and 30's. Prime 80's video game players.

plus, i saw an age poll on these forums not too long ago that had a whole lot of people in that age range.

you could be right, but i dunno.
