I know about the way to fix Rock Band 2 drum pads cross talking with each other, but will the same method fix crosstalk between the yellow pad and the bass pedal?

Out of nowhere, overnight, my drums pretty much broke. When I first turned them on in the morning after playing fine the night before, whenever I hit the yellow pad it registers a yellow hit and a bass pedal hit. Meanwhile the pedal doesn't do anything at all.

When it comes to the actual buttons on the drums, all directions on the d-pad cause the pedal to hit except up (I don't know if they're supposed to or not), and when I press in the Y button the yellow hits, then when I let go of the button the pedal hits.

Any help? Or will I have to send it in?

my drums are doing the same thing. I'm not sure how to fix it but your not alone. Is it a problem with the pedal or with the drum pad part of the controller?

No, I think it's in the pads...I called EA and they said it was probably a faulty connection, which would mean something with the wires in the pads.

there's no way this issue would just crop up after the most recent patch, there was a recent patch right? making sure I'm not imagining things.

I doubt all our equipment would go faulty at the exact same time unless they are using radioactive isotopes with a low half life in the production of the drums lol.

Gotta be some sort of software issue.

Are you guys lefties, what system is it on, and are have you ever used a non-stock pedal. Any info might help.

I'm a lefty, ps3, my crosstalk is between red pad and pedal, similar controller issues, though once again not exactly the same as reported by 360 owners. I use a non-stock pedal, but the issue exists with stock pedal too (at least now it does).

no i'm not a leftie and I've only used the stock pedal. I just went ahead and submitted an RMA since my hardware is still under warranty. It has the looks like its a wiring issue within the pads.

Righty, stock pedal, 360, got it for christmas so no receipt, so no RMA for me.

I'm sorry guys, but it's unlikely new hardware is going to fix your issue.

Well, we'll find out. A friend of mine has RB2 too. I'll try out his drums.

EDIT: When I tried to sync my drums at my friend's house, the sync button just plain didn't work I'm pretty sure this is a hardware issue.
