Shameless I know, but my 2-year old is so into this game it's amazing. I bring out the drum kit and he totally lights up... he needs to work on his rhythm, but he has the tongue sorted.

Get him a real drum set.. he is a natural. I am serious. I mean if he wasn't too small for that I bet he would do better. I say get him a drum set at 5 he seems like he would be musically inclined.

I mean for crying out loud he is able to pay attention to the song and notes. Even though he isn't good on rhythm.. he is only 2. Most 2 year olds who try just bash on the drums.. but he is really smart it seems and atleast understands the concept. (Not bashing the other kids)

My 15 month old stands up and holds on to my leg and dances while I sing or play guitar in Rock Band :)

Get them into it while their young and their minds are playdough is what i say. My friends little brother is in 7th grade and is playing Zeppelin on Guitar and it's quite amazing. Great thing about the drums compared to the guitar/Guitar hero, is that if you can play drums on expert, you can play the freaking drums.

heh... I'll take the compliment - if my kid ever got that good good on the drums I would retire in luxury.

Anyway, this is the best part of this game for me - I am a video game addict, and anything which gets the rest of my family/friends involved is great in my book.

My son is not a toddler still however he can play a mean rock band drum set.

When I arrived home from work last night he was playing drums on The Roling Stones song on Medium level. He ended up with a 5 star 95% for the whole song. I am not talking about practice but the actual game.

When he and his siblings play he always plays on medium (guitar or drums) and almost never fails. He has actually started playing the guitar on Hard recently.

Oh BTW.. He is 5.

Wow... that is impressive. Who knows, maybe this game will inspire a new generation of Rock Gods.
