yes it is warented. You can just say that the pedal isnt registering and say that it does spring up, thats wahat i did. thats how to do it on the support site. If you call though, they can do it that way too. This is happening to a lot of epople, including me. Good luck in getting one soon though, mine was ordered on wednesday last week and still hasnt left ea.

they want $125 to secure a new one!! that sucks

do you think they will try to deny my warranty since i tried to glue it back together?

that is quite possible. I mean maybe they will be leniant, its not like they can fix them after they snapped. I was thinking about gluing it but the thought that it might void the warrenty made me think to use some tape

This same thing actually just happened to myself...

I was channeling my inner Keith Moon on Don't Get Fooled Again, found that the pedal felt a little funny towards the end of the song, and as soon as I look down I see this:

Any others have this issue?

{Is there no thumbnail code on these boards? Oh well, it's a giant pic, so I'll just provide a link to it.}

for people who have had their pedal broken, where did you place your foot on the pedal in relationship to the orange line? If that has something to do with it, i need to know. My toes are pretty much over the edge of the pedal. Everyone else?

I asked about this on the phone and the customer service person didn't say much.
I've played with my foot slid all the way down and covered the whole thing so just my toe is on the orange strip, I've played where my heel is more near to the orange strip and my toes hang over the edge, but it broke when the ball of my foot was right right below the orange strip so that when it snapped it snapped into the arch of the foot. So, I guess I won't play like that when I get a new one... maybe I should just hang my foot over the edge again... but that seems MORE likely to snap because then your foot isn't covering the rest of the pad? ahh, I dunno.
