Drum Set. Yellow = Xbox Dashboard?

I have a brand new Rock Band 2 drum set. As soon as I started to play on it, the yellow pad flaked on me. Every 3 or 4 hits, the yellow pad will bring up the menu that the "Xbox Button" would bring up. At first I thought it was because I was getting too close to the center button, however, I watched myself and noticed that it was doing it even when I played the yellow pad on the far side. Please, if anyone has any insight, fill me in! Thanks, Duke {Nukem}

lots of people are starting to have cross wiring problems, and it's all happening very recently, including to people who have new sets, and people who have had it since it came out.

It's likely a software issue, but I have no idea how to fix it. I'm having this problem too.

its not a software issue its "crosstalk" meaning faulty wiring. you will need to do an RMA for a new drumset

can't RMA, I've had this since october. Doesn't make sense that it would work fine and all the sudden it's faulty wiring that mixes up drum signals. I just don't see how it's conceptually possible. If something just stopped workign, sure, but for the controls to get all jumbled up makes no sense.
