Bass in Solo Career

Someone may have already asked this, but is there a way to select playing bass in solo career? I can only play guitar.

i dont care, i just love playing bass in the game and in real life ...yeahh..

Thanks guys. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing it. You think that you would be able to play bass in solo career since you can play everything else. Since I play bass, naturally I would like to play it in the game. Hopefully they will create a patch.

Yeah, if you had searched, you would found out this. Not only that, but you would also see that everyone came to the conclusion that bass is not interesting or varied enough to warrant its own career.
I love my bass grooves too, but you have to admit that the average person is not going to be interested playing bass to many of the songs.

Bass is a hugely important instrument in a band but there are few great bassists in bands that really let rip anywhere in their songs. Not every bassist plays as interestingly as Steve Harris, John Entwistle, Geddy Lee or Geezer Butler.

In other words, bass career would be pretty dull until the last tier.
