WOW, just got done playing some songs with my new drumset. Holy crap, that is a lot of fun. I played drums for years, but sold my set awhile back. I had been jonesing to play bad and that hit the spot. I did a few songs on expert, one was wave of mutilation and got up to 86% after practicing. Man, I could have played all night!! I love practice mode so you can slow it down and get the beat down, too cool.

Too bad I had to wait a week to get new drums, but the game just kicks ass!! It really felt like I was playing my drums again. I wouldn't mind having a rubber high hat and cymbol, but maybe thats something for Rock Band 2 :).

i agree. i bought the metallica pack tuesday night and proceeded to play justice and blackened probably about 40 times each until i broke the pedal. i still practice my drums on the pads with no kick drum and with the playstation turned off. i cant wait to build my own kick pedal or get a new one in to continue rocking. i was actually #1 on blackened Expert on all consoles, but got knocked off the next day. im sure by the time im up and running i'll be out of the top 10. grr

but ive never had any more fun. i was really looking forward to drums on rock band (even though im a guitarist) and it far surpassed my expectations. i picked up the guitar twice i think in that week hah. everytime but 3 or 4 times i played drums it was the metallica pack. love it

^^ there's a couple threads of some "quick-fixes" to broken pedals if you'd want me to try and find some of the threads.. dunno if they work or not, but it's worth a shot

No, these are the new drums I got after I got fed up with waiting for my RMA to be filled and took them back to the store. I got a new pack and the drums work fine. My problem was my green drum didn't work at all. This pack has the same date my DOA drums did(sept 30). I have my RMA drums on the way, but I might just send them back and keep these if they hold up. Maybe i'll use the new bass pedal if it is stronger.

You're a guitarist and yet you're that good at the drums MegaGoo? That's impressive.

One guy sells fixes on Ebay. Its just a solid metal attachment to put the pieces back together. Looks awesome too.
