America's 10 Most Miserable Cities

EDIT: I'm surprised they didn't list every city in Michigan

If that's a joke, please end with a ";)"...if you're serious...stay in school.

Nice to see no Texas cities made that list. Everything's better (and bigger) in Texas!!! :)

North America =/= U.S.A

North America =/= U.S.A

Here in Quebec, when you Amerique, it means America, like EVERYTHING. No divisions with North and South either.

USA= Etats Unis, not AMERIQUE.

I lived in Modesto, about 40 minutes south of Stockton. Modesto was wayyyy crappier and more miserable than Stockton. And yes, I even was a victim of car-theft!

Both deserve to be on the list though. Surprised to see Chicago and St. Louis though.

Don't Quebecers refer to some from the USA as "Américain"?

Winnipeg has every miserable Canadian city category locked down. We're Canada's official "grim ghetto".

I think Ontario was cited as one of the most unhappy provinces.

I wonder what qualifies as a happy province, then? Every one I've visited has residents that complain endlessly about what needs to change.

We have the least holidays out of any other Province.

Haha yeah, that would totally do it.

We just got a new Feb holiday last year, because people were jealous of Alberta and "Family Day". So now we have "Louis Riel Day", named after a Métis political figure for a holiday where people just want to sleep in.

I really dislike that they chose the name "Louis Riel Day".

Toronto can be a pretty miserable city if you commute.

Schiz, you'll notice there were no Indiana cities on that list, once again proving how awesome us Hoosiers are!

Even though 2 years ago Evansville was Forbe's "19th Most Expensive City To Have a First Date", which I never really understood.

Oh man, that I can understand. My fiancee's folks live in Georgetown and her dad commutes into work everyday for like an hour each direction on the train. That's got to be annoying.

ahhhhahahahaaa.... stockton is #1

i live half way between sacramento and stockton (my last job was based in stockton as a matter of fact).
and modesto is the next large (if you wanna call it that) city south of stockton and they are at #5.

and yet oddly, id pick either of them before going back to tucson which didnt make the list...

What's wrong with Riel?

I don't think there's anything wrong with Riel, but more the idea of putting his name on a made-up holiday that has utterly no significance tying back to the man or his ideals.

Honestly, I wish they would have just called it Family Day like other provinces do.

See? Orlando isn't on the top 10 list! So stop complaining about all it's crime! Just because of the Caylee Anthony story, everyone thinks Orlando's some huge prison community, and it's not

Miami really is much worse
