So I'm trying to expand my industrial tastes and I've decided to check out Ministry. Anyone have a good album to start with?

That's a good start, then the The Land of Rape and Honey. Twitch is great if you like more experimental stuff.

Psalm 69 is a good place to start with Ministry. Personally I prefer the Revolting Cocks.

Well I don't know what this cock thing is I think it's a male strip show, male strippers. I have to call 'em and ask 'em, what is that...what'd they call it?

I'm surprised no one has mentioned "The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste". "Land of Rape & Honey" was my first album, but "The Mind..." album was amazing. "Thieves", "Burning Inside", "Breathe" and "So What" are awesome tracks. I would kill for a RB 4-pack of these tracks. Live, this album assulted you. I've never seen crazier pits than the ones supporting this album at the Riv in Chicago and later at Lollapalooza (chunks of sod can be thrown really far :D).

their best album imo is With Sympathy. It is amazing how much better music Al can create when is isn't busy hating everybody.

Twitch and With Sympathy are my two favorite Ministry albums. Yeah, they are both (especially With Sympathy) essentially Depeche Mode tribute albums, but that's probably why I like them so much. Uncle Al needs to get over his hatred of the first two Ministry albums, damnit.
