I had Tickets to Van Halen, but I had to give them away because I have a Math test the night of Van Halen. God Damn night class sucks my ass.

I would've "gotten food poisoning" or "had to go to the emergeny room for ailment" (vertigo is always a solid choice). That's just me though.

My math teacher said no makeups and the test is worth like 15% of my grade.

If I wasnt going to get a C or D in the class because of skipping I would definately go to Van Halen, but idk. Hopefully they tour again.

Van Halen is less important than 15% of your grade? Forget math! See that concert!!!

I would have gone to class. The cost of the Van Halen tickets, I imagine, are less than the cost of the class, so it makes financial sense.

I think you made the right choice.

I think telling the teacher that Van Halen is more important than math is definately the best option lol. I mean hell, I took algebra, calculus, geometry etc... I don't remember ANY of it, and I'm only 25 years old. Never seen Halen though. So definately more important :D

thnk you dude....if you dont think of getting a job with that subject involved.......THEN UR ALLOWED TO SKIP OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT....and just tell the teacher u were sick...i think by law she has to give you an makeup day for the test

There is more than the cost of the tickets at stake. How much more will you be making per year once you get your degree?

The company I work for Hired Van Halen for a private concert in Toronto at the Air Canada Center. It was an awesome show, especially since it was free!
