My character doesn't appear on the site (photo creator)

So I just created my rockband.com account not more than a week ago for the sole purpose of making photos. I linked my Rock Band 2 X360 game. Right now on my X360, I have 2 characters made, "HIV" (my character) and "bob" (for guests). On rockband.com, I can see the bob character just fine but my character doesn't appear. My band can be seen (Virus Attack), but it says there's no characters in the band even though in the actual game, I am the leader of the band. Why can't I see my character??

My gamertag is the same name as my Rockband.com name, if it helps.

I believe the character name of "HIV" might fall under the category of "offensive to some". I know for Band names, if its offensive it doesnt get listed. Maybe the same goes for band members?

Well that is disappointing. I didnt intend the name to be offensive, it's just initials of completely different nick name that I use.

Is there any way to go around it if that's the case?

I highly doubt they are censoring the initials HIV. The character thing is iffy at best. Give it some time and hopefully the folks at Harmonix will get it fixed.

Oh yeah I'm not saying that's the case, but I had posted a similar problem a while back and one of the HMX mods asked if possibly it got flagged for being offensive, rude etc..

That wasnt the case for me, but as your situation was similar, I just thought I'd put that out there, as that's what I was asked at the time.

I have noticed that in some cases, it takes up to 18 hours for a new character I create, to be reflected here on site. Sometimes I've lucked out and its an hour or two, but the worst case so far has been 18 hours.

Make sure they are both members of your band in the band roster. If they are only stand-ins or just created characters they will not currently show up on the site. Right now, only the members of my band will show and any other characters have disappeared. I used to be able to take pics of them, but now the system seems to have changed for some reason. The only up-side to this is that now I can take full band pics with the members I have online, but I can't take indiviual photos of the band members that aren't on my console. (So I have 2 characters and a band I can photograph.)
