OK, so i just got the bundle yesterday, was playing using my x-plorer guitar on medium so i can play them just fine...now im working on getting used to the drums but seem to be off a bit on some basic rhythms. All pad hits are registering but im wondering if maybe im just doing something to make it harder for me and would appreciate any tips anyone has on playing the drums, such as correct height for the drum set, foot placement for the kick pad, etc.

When drumming I find it easier to play along with the beat of the song as opposed to trying to hit the notes as I see them. Sometimes this may lead to missed notes etc. I tend to use the on screen notes as a guide and make sure I am keeping a steady beat in my head. Counting may be an option for you as well.

ok thx, thats a lil helpful..and i have done a search for this on here but no posts said what i was looking for, thats why i made this post...anyway i seem to have the position ok now, just when i have to hit 2 at one time like the red and yellow, or red and blue half the time one of em doesnt register or maybe its just off...any suggestions on how to fix that?

oh btw, nothing wrong with the pads, they work perfect any other time, just seems like one of em misses when i have to hit 2 at the same time.

I and several other real drummers have posted the exact stuff you're looking for in lots of other threads. Just do a search on my name and you'll find some of them.

That means you aren't hitting them at the right time. More practice for you, and exactly what your looking for HAS been posted before.
