I would assume it's a production thing. NIN just hired a new drummer from EU to tour with them (Chamberlin from Pumpkins was denied), so I doubt this is a collaboration of the two bands.

Wouldn't Chamberlin be busy? And isn't his style completely wrong for NIN? And havn't NIN and Pumpkins always hated each other? Plus this is about Janes Addiction, not SP, and also the new NIN drummer is from Calafornia.

Rumor has is both will be playing Lollapalooza 09, which will make 2 years in a row for NIN:)

There's also a lot of talk of a full tour with both bands co-headlining.

BAM! That is sooo Perry . Just look at the posture and like... head shape, lol.

All the photos are dated as being taken about 1 week ago, they've just been slowly released. Pretty sure there's a new JA album coming out, produced by Trent. Harmonix, get on this before GH does.

with Nothing Shocking (EVENTUALLY) coming and with 7 NIN songs in RB, I think its a safe bet that HMX has been doing well negotiating with both parties
