(New York, NY) February 12, 2009 – The original line-up of Fred Durst, Wes Borland, Sam Rivers, John Otto, and DJ Lethal are back from an eight year hiatus to bring their world back to ours. Fred Durst and Wes Borland said in a joint statement:

"We decided we were more disgusted and bored with the state of heavy popular music than we were with each other. Regardless of where our separate paths have taken us, we recognize there is a powerful and unique energy with this particular group of people we have not found anywhere else. This is why Limp Bizkit is back."

The guys will kick off a world tour in the Spring on the overseas festival circuit with headline shows sprinkled in throughout Eastern Europe and Europe, selected dates include, in late May, Russia, Ukraine, and the Baltic countries where Limp Bizkit has never played before despite huge demand, along with major festivals like Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park in Germany, more dates to be announced shortly. A new album, which would be the original group’s first full-length effort since 2000, is also planned. Limp Bizkit’s first three albums have sold over 20 million copies in the U.S. alone, and another 13 million in the rest of the world.

I always remember wanting to see them as a teenager. Although now I could care less, i wouldn't mind going to see them to satisfy all those teenage years of hopeful wishing.

It would go really well with the third installment of Rock of Love.

The only word that comes to mind is
Why?

Who wants this to happen? Is there one person on the planet that actually wants Limp Bizkit back? If someone finds this person for me, then I will understand.

Dang i must be out of the loop or something. I didn't know Creed and Blink182 was reuniting...and now Limp Bizkit. I wouldn't mind seeing Blink182 back but the world could do without Creed and Limp Bizkit.

LMAO! Is reunions of band in fashion this year? This is the 4th band I've heard of so far that reunited! Blink 182, No Doubt, Creed and now Limp Bizkit?!

haha, I would actually see them if they came around but I wouldn't pay more than 15$. Wes borland is a unique guitarist. Even though I didn't like anything they did after significant other, I still like the songs counterfeit and sour.

What's the over/under this reunion doesn't equate success for LB?

Wow, I never thought Borland and Durst would make up, they had kind of an Axl / Slash thing going for a while no? While I always found LB's instrumentation to be at least entertaining, I loathe Fred Durst and don't really want to put any money in his pocket.

Yeah, it saddens me that LB gets all this hate, when it's Fred Durst that normally brings it on himself. The band itself are actually quite talented at what they do, but people still say "LB sucks, I hate LB, blah blah blah..." when in actuality they really just don't like Durst.

I liked the Significant Other album, but over the years its lost a lot of spectacle for me. If the tickets were cheap...probably not, but I'd take them over any other band that reunited this year.
