Yeah you heard.

I'm waiting for Tales of Vesperia which doesn't come out in the UK untill June.

Know of any Japanese RPG games I can pick up that are good?

Blue Dragon is fun...I think it's 20 bucks now which is more than worth it.

I liked Eternal Sonata as well.

I want Tales as well but I'm waiting till I beat a few of my other games lying around.

I'd go with Eternal Sonata. Have that on PS3, it's great.

Infinite Undiscovery looks good too though, and I'm jealous PS3 isn't getting it.

There's a few Phantasy Stars and Shining Forces on the Genesis Collection, which are top-notch.

Lost Odyssey hands down.

This too.

I was surprised by how good it was.

First RPG I've played in YEARS of not being interested in them....

I just finished Vesperia yesterday and loved the crap out of it. I would also like to try Lost Odyssey

I love Blue Dragon.

Old school RPG with the anime cheesiness thrown in.

Lost Odyssey if your in it for the more serious approach.

Eternal Sonata.

That is all.

Eternal Sonata.

That is all.

I liked the game engine , but it got old to quick and the story was bleh.

Agreed. PSIV is one of my all-time favorite J-RPGs. :)

Tales of Vesperia would be my first choice, and Lost Odyssey a close second.

I loved the story, but I definitely agree that finishing the game was a chore.

I also agree with the new Sega compilation that just came out. There's plenty of awesome in there.

I could not get into Lost Odyssey at all. But I enjoyed Blue Dragon.

I got all 1000/1000 on that one , and yeah . . . that stupid endgame sidequest was a ridiculous chore.

heh. I usually wipe out RPGs I like. Did it on Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey too . . . well , 1100/1100 on Lost Od.

Got a different idea for ya. If you've still got a PS2 I STRONGLY recommend Persona 4. One of the best games of last year

I'm far too lazy to do the Treasure Trove.

I could never do that. My attention span is horrible.

I haven't even played that one yet. It came out at a bad time for me , and I never went back to pick it up. Still on my to do list.

Ugh... this made me want to rip my hair out... I still never got it though. I also never got the "All spells" one (which I should have gotten), "learn all abilities" one, and some other ******ed ones.

The story was great though. Very awesome.

Why'd treasure trove make you wanna rip your hair out if you knew you were missing spells ? That one shouldn't drive you insane until you're sure you have everything possible but find out you missed a stupid poster somewhere etc.

I have no idea how anyone can get more than 10 gamerscore points on Blue Dragon.

Oh yeah . . I think there were 2 spells like that , but everything else you miss shows up in the Auction house.

hehe , I loved that game. Got em all and beat it several times.

I got those 2 spells though.... I just couldn't find the very last 2 at all... Aquarus and something else. I knew exactly where to look, but I could never find them...

Does Final Fantasy count as a J-RPG?

I'd recommend Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon, as those are the only 360 JRPGs I own other than Tales of Vesperia...

Not sure when Star Ocean 4 comes out in the UK, but if it's before ToV, might want to check that out as well.

Hope you enjoy Tales of Vesperia once you get it, though. It's the game that finally convinced me to get a 360...
