PS2 Release date pushed back

Just was informed yesterday at GS the RB release date has been pushed back to December 18th. To top that, i had to put $25 down to reserve a copy that day becuase it was the last day for reservign teh bundle. Im still debating wether ill take my 25 dollars back or not. I don't wanna have to post on here about my strat not working :(

atleast you aren't canadian where we found out like 3 days before Nov 20th that it wouldn't show up til Dec 18th... and then had to pay a 50$ fedex fee to get it to yourself :)

It has been the 18th for quite a while now. A month, at least. When I saw the thread title, I was afraid I was going to have to deliver some bad news to a couple of friends who are anxiously awaiting that release.

Well, as of yesterday, Amazon still had it listed as available on the 11th, and they're usually pretty good about keeping up to date on the site, if not with the actual deliveries.

I was told by EB Games about a month ago that the release date was December 18th. How much that coincides with everyone else's reality is an unknown.

There was a press release about a month ago that unceremoniously showed the release date to be December 18th instead of the 11th. You can find the press release here: http://www.rockband.com/news/pr/534

Did anyone else also notice that the PS2 Bundle is now missing from Gamestops website...I'm wondering if they aren't going to release it now....and it makes me mad if they do this cause I don't want to miss out at least a little. I mean my cousin has the 360 version and I don't want to just wait till he comes over...I'd like to at least be able to practice without him around. And my wife wants to play too. I hope they don't take this away from us. And if they don't I hope there is expansion discs for us PS2 owners....I'd sure hate to drop 160$ for this and then have to turn around when I can afford it and drop 170$ on this for the 360 when I get one of those....I'll already have to drop 170$ for GH2 and GH3(if they don't fix the Wii version of GH3 and add DLC). That's alot of money to spend and have useless controllers...
