Missing downloaded songs PS3

Hey guys,

ive just recently bought rock band 1 for PS3 and its a great game but, there is one problem which is:

i have purchased, downloaded and installed the Metallica track pack 1. but i cant find it anywhere within the game when i load it up, ive searched in every section of the playlist, tour mode, quick play you name it; its not there lol

so any help will be appreciated :D

Make sure you're on the latest patch, can you play online or not? Make sure your game and dlc are from the same region, if U.S. game, DLC must be purchased with a U.S. account.

If that doesn't work, try the download again. If that doesn't work, try (extreme solution) deleting your DLC file and download one song.

Can't think of something else to try right now.

His friend actually posted a thread on the rock band forum where he has gotten a lot of suggestions. No one mentioned having the latest patch last I saw, though.
