11/20 Replacement In Transit

Just an update for everyone who ordered a replacement early on and has been waiting-

I ordered mine at 10AM on 11/20, and my UPS info officially says In Transit now for a Monday delivery. The EA support web site was updated to Parts Shipped yesterday, which must have been accurate since a Monday 2nd Day Air delivery would require shipping on Thursday. My UPS info wasn't actually updated to In Transit until some time this morning.

Me too! I was all ready to call up and ***** again (and hope for a free game :D) but decided to check my status on ups first and it says "in transit"! (I'm a little bummed about the game though :))

Its ironic that my original order is now in transit since i placed a 2nd order this morning out of frustration! Rather then cancel ANYTHING at this point, I'm going to let both guitar's ship to me and I will ship them back the defective one as well as the extra one that is getting sent.

Didn't you place a second order too? This morning I put in a second request and of course 30 minutes later (after 9 days of looking at my tracking over and over) my original order says "in transit"...I called EA to cancel the second one and they said I had to refuse the delivery...

Yeah, on UPS mine now estimates delivery on Monday, but my rma on the EA website hasn't updated from "Label Printed," yet, so I'm still cautiously optimistic.

I did, this morning. But, I'm not cancelling anything at this point. I'll just make sure to send back 2 guitars (the 1 defective one and the one from the 2nd order) and it should be fine.

I know it's not a big deal but with EA's track record I'm just afraid they'll goof up the refused package and try to charge me for it...

I wouldnt refuse it. Just accept it, open it, figure out which one of the 2 feels better then ship them back 2 boxes. Shouldnt be ANY problems that way

Hmmm....good point....I'm getting drums and guitar and since the drums seem pretty flaky it might be good to be able to choose between two new ones...good call...

You could be right, I thought about that too. Oh well doesn't really matter as long as it really gets here on Monday.

i concur. ups status would have updated last night if they actually received them. i believe the ea status just showed parts shipped because they probably had them boxed up and piled into a space for UPS to pick up the next day.

Its actually the UPS site which is now showing "In Transit" instead of "Billing Information Received". I'm guessing they will be picked up/scanned this evening. I'm just happy the status finally changed! :)

Yay. Ordered on the 24th and 25th and they're in transit finally.

Filled out my RMA request on 11/23/2007 10:00 AM... still no tracking number or anything. Just says "New RMA." I'm getting pissed, and I don't want another $100 hold on my account and have to deal with shipping a 2nd guitar back.

Ordered on the 27th and my tracking info says its already in my city, so it should be here today or tomorrow.

Mine still hasn't updated. I'm calling the support number and demanding to talk to EA.
