Is anyone else experiencing a bug when you select certain designs to put on your guitar, they are auto applying to your face, just like it was face paint? Is that supposed to do that? Cause I like having a giant Dragon on my guitar, just not my face.
Also, when I remove the design from the guitar, it auto removes from my face as well. the design also doesn't show up anywhere else.

That's an interesting issue. Would you mind including further information so we can look into it?
Which version (console) are you using?
What exactly did you do to reproduce the issue (i.e. Go to Rock Store, then choose [option], etc.)?
Let me know!

I've noticed something somewhat similar on my PS3 version. It only shows up in the load screen band stills, where it looks like sometimes the characters' faces are being textured incorrectly. For example, a characters head will be completely black, rather than have the correct skin texture applied.

Maby its because you have the same design as the face paint and just forgot to make a new design. just a thought you might need to have more than 1 desgin and leave one blank

XBOX 360 Special Edition (if I rememeber right)
Fender Guitar Plugged into slot 1 of USB port
Mic in Slot 2
Xplorer Guitar Plugged into 3
Drums in 4
Using Xplorer guitar as controller. My character didn't have any face paint to begin with. All he had was sunglasses on.
I went to Rock Shop; then instruments, guitar, pressed yellow (if I remember right) to change the label/design (i forget the wording). I searched around for a bit and found the label/design that was a single feathered wing. It placed it in the middle of the Guitar. I then back out and I got a huge wing on my face. I then tried a red label, it was a heart or muscle or something. The interesting thing was that I forgot to delete the wing on the guitar at first. So the Red label was over top the wing. Which just so happened to be the same on my face as well. And normally, I would have thought that I forgot to remove it or put it on my face accidently, but my brother was there watching me at the time and he can't remember me doing ANY with my face at all.
Any other info?

Thank you for the detailed information. Hopefully, we'll be able to reproduce this and look into a solution. I'll let you know as soon as I know more (please note that I may not be able to get back to you about this over the weekend but I will do my best to get back to you on this as soon as possible).

Hey Violet, you got an update on this?
BTW, I tried to recreate this error with no sucess. Maybe it just glitched. However I did notice something strange yesterday... when I was messing around with the face paint and such... I found the label of the the wing and musscle design that showed up on my face and guitar was a saved selection as a face paint design. At first I started to think that I was crazy.... but I swear I know didn't put that on my face and was working on my guitar... it was the jackson reverse neck with I had painted Yellow. I just know it... but I can't get it to replicate so maybe I am crazy....

i noticed something last night when i was putting decals on my guitar. i had already put face paint on my character and when i went to put decals on my guitar i noticed my face paint save in the list where you save your guitar decals. i didn't experiment around with multiple saves to see if there was a work around but it looks like the two lists are being linked when they shouldn't be.

We weren't able to reliably reproduce this either (although it does seem you can get around the issue if it happens which makes this a little easier to deal with). I am reporting this up just to be sure the game team is aware of it, though.
If you find a certain combination of steps/instruments/designs that forces this to occur all the time, please let me know so I can pass along those reproduction steps.

My character didn't have any face paint to begin with.
Did you ever mess with face paint though? You could have easily left it on a blank layer. That same blank layer was later used for your Guitar, only this time you applied a graphic to it. Now this graphic shows up on any location that uses that original blank layer.
Hope this makes sense...

thanks MR E, that's exactly what happened to me....i figured blank layer = no art, but it doesn't....if you add art to the blank layer, it goes wherever you initially opened the blank layer....so to fix it, put the guitar art on a NEW layer, not a previous blank one

I ran into the same thing. I put some art on my cape and it appeared on my face. Then I went into my face and changed it to a blank art and everything was ok. I now have art on my face, cape, and guitar but they all have to be on different layers. I dont know why they are linked but they are not linked to the tatoos.
